Miracle Image  -  Draws Hundreds To Talk God - Creator

. The image that draws hundreds of people from Atlantic Region. This was found in Tina and Derrick Nevin's house, on a bed room wall in Indian Brook that many Elders of the community believe shows the virgin Mary and the Infant Jesus. This image was recognized by Tina's son CORBIN who is two years old, on the 25th of April 2001. Tina told him  keep the wall clean no more scribbling .... Corbin said: ` Mam..mma it is not me, Go..d puut i..t ' Frank Nevin says that God has a plan for Indian Brook;  Keith Julian says we have to turn to our Faith otherwise there is no hope;  Cheryl Copage says definitely there is a God;  Kelsey Marr & Janine Marr say that they see very clearly Mary and Jesus; Derrick said that he does not go to church but he is struck by what has happened in his house and the people whoever come to his house thank him, he does not know why....; many people in the community say that this little image is a message from God to all of us, to say that God has visited us and takes care of us;.. .... some do say that they like to be skeptical but it is there; ... It is so  very clear; Ellen Robinson says that she was very skeptical and did not believe, when she saw it, she did;.. ........Pat Pictou, Geno Knockwood, Mary McDonald, Betsy Paul, Gloria Maloney, Annie Paul, Libby Meuse, Clarence D. Marr,  Terri Socobasin, Laura Sack and some of the prayer group members say that this is the sign for which we have been praying for more than fifteen years... we are very thankful to God our Creator for answering our prayers.....Patlias Tumma Kurudeepan says I respect anyone's profound  personal faith experience due to an object or an incident where God-Creator's presence is manifested. Two healings have taken place after touching the image. There are many people calling to find out about the Miracle Image from West to East and North to South. There are some who are very critical about this miracle image. There are many community volunteers assisting the family to receive the visitors from far and wide. More than 2600 people have visited and signed the visitor's book. There are more Rosaries recited, distributed, more prayers said in the presence of the miracle Image. The local people of Indian Brook have started calling the little image - Image of  our Lady of Indian Brook.

As of 25th of May 2002, this image is preserved in the Reconciliation Room of Saint Catherine's Church of Indian Brook, we are thankful to April Maloney for framing the image and the family of Tina and Derrick Nevin for sharing the image with the faith community.

Native Prayer
Oh Great Spirit, whose voice I hear in the winds, and whose breath gives life to all the world – hear me – I come before you, one of your children. I am small and weak. I need your strength and wisdom. Let me walk in beauty and make my eyes ever behold the red and purple sunset. Make my hands respect the things you have made, my ears sharp to hear your voice. Make me wise, so that I may know the things you have taught my People, the lesson you have hidden in every leaf and rock. I seek strength not to be superior to my brothers, but to be able to fight my greatest enemy, myself. Make me ever ready to come to you, with clean hands and straight eyes, so when life fades as a fading sunset, my spirit may come to you without shame. -- Prayer by Yellow Hawk, Sioux Chief
